Feeling Good

This post is very special to me. I had a great time taking these pictures (as you can see). It's entitled "Felling Good" because this is a personification of my phrase "I dress how I feel and I feel how I dress." My style is about purely looking good-SO GOOD that nothing anyone says can ruin your day because you feel so great. Your outfit and your style can create that feeling everyday if you put your mind to it. Your clothes (appearance) affect your mood, attitude, and your opportunities.

Today my style is the best it has ever been, and that it gets better everyday that I live.

My style will progress because I will gain more useful knowledge about fashion and my style as life (and fashion classes) goes on. My style will continue to change with the times, because it must.

We cannot live in one decade. Fashion can never be set in stone. Think about it...we have gone from loin clothes to red lace Marchesa dresses.

My personal style has immensely evolved over the years.

When You Look Good; You Feel Good.

Style has been used in the past and will be in the future as cultural and political statements and vehicles of communication of meaningful symbols. The wearer uses their style for a tool of power. Dress and style is used as a source of social capital.

There are many reasons why I love fashion:

Fashion is an art form.

Fashion is an open system of communication, leaving room for change and evolution every waking second (just like language and music).

Fashion is like the words of language and style is the poetry of clothing.

Style is a presentation of the self to the world, in the form of outward appearance involving clothes, jewelry, accessories, make-up hair, and tattoos.

My style is fluid and variant.

My style exposes intricate issues of my self-identity.

"The desired result from viewers is to make it visually impossible for the wearer (me) to go unnoticed or the viewer to be unresponsive-a reaction is demanded".

The classic black and white combination is a must do for this season.Take my word for it. Black and white is the "it" combination right now.The crisp cleanliness of it makes it classic. It's rather beneficial for us all that it's trending at the moment. Many designers like Louis Vuitton are jumping on board with the classic combination and making it apparent in their collections.

Everyday is a chance to create an artwork.

I am wearing a white peplum shirt from Charlotte Russe (with lace and cut outs on the back), a statement Rhinestone necklace, Forever 21 black and White Polka Dot wedges, Mesh and faux Leather from Shasa, and a pink studded clutch.

I also have on Square Rhinestone earrings from Forever 21 to match my necklace, and a ring from Forever 21 and a variety of bracelets.
